\u201cThe specific effects of CBD\non cue-induced drug craving and anxiety are particularly important in the\ndevelopment of addiction therapeutics because environmental cues are one of the\nstrongest triggers for relapse and continued drug use.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the number of drug\noverdose deaths in 2017 alone beyond 70,000 \u2013 a record high, around 10% higher\nthan 2016 \u2013 it is safe to say that people are going to have to start taking\nalternative treatments seriously. This has been a problem for the best part of\na half-decade: life expectancy rates are dropping, such is the number of young\ndeaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
