I was addicted to painkillers and I am currently in recovery. The moment I actually listened to this song I cried. I dont even like pink but the lyrics to this song I feel like have been written for me. I am 32 years old with a family and kids was struggling to find myself and I turned to drugs "the easy way out". What I found out was it only covers it up and coming down is awful. As the song says how do i feel this good sober. But it can be done with the proper guidance and self discipline. My wife has been my best therapy as she has always been there for me. I actually cant listen to this song anymore because it is to powerful for me.
